Lin Zi is a director of the Suzhou Piano Society. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and taught piano at Suzhou University of Science and Technology for twelve years. Born into a musical family, her grandfather was among the first professors at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the maker of China's first piano. Her parents were university music theory and piano teachers. From a young age, she studied piano and double-keyboard playing under professors Jin Dishan, Zhou Wei, and Zhu Lei at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. During her time at the university, she won first place in a university teacher teaching competition, published three papers in provincial journals, undertook one National Social Science Fund of China project in arts, and two Jiangsu Provincial Higher Education Philosophy and Social Science Research Fund projects. She also successfully held three solo recitals at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Suzhou University of Science and Technology. Lin Zi has served as a judge for numerous major piano competitions in Suzhou, including the Steinway, Xinghai Cup, Kawai, Shanghai Youth Piano Competition, and Singapore International Youth Piano Competition. Her teaching achievements are outstanding, with hundreds of her students winning first prize or first-class awards in various piano competitions. She has received numerous honors, including the title of Excellent Teacher and the Outstanding Mentor Award.

蘇州鋼琴學會理事，本科、碩士畢業於上海音樂學院，在蘇州科技大學任教十二年，擔任鋼琴專業課教師。 林子出生於音樂世家，祖父爲上海音樂學院首批教授、中國第一臺鋼琴製造者，父母爲大學音樂理論和鋼琴教師，自幼先後師從上海音樂學院金迪善、周薇、朱磊教授學習鋼琴及雙排鍵演奏。在高校工作期間，獲高校教師講課競賽第一名，在省級刊物上發表論文三篇，承擔國家社科基金藝術學項目一個，江蘇省高校哲學社會科學研究基金兩項，並在上海音樂學院以及蘇州科技大學成功舉辦個人獨奏音樂會三場。林子多次擔任蘇州各大鋼琴比賽評委，如施坦威、星海杯、KAWAI、上海青少年鋼琴比賽、新加坡國際青少年鋼琴比賽等。教學成績突出，學生在各大鋼琴比賽中獲第一名或一等獎者達數百餘人次；多次獲得優秀教師榮譽稱號，卓越導師獎等榮譽。
